ABOUT US
Who We Are
Founded in 1963, Actron Engineering has established itself as a premier partner in the aerospace and defense sectors, where we remain dedicated to Meeting the Mission Through Experience and Capabilities. We are a precision CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication company dedicated to a single purpose: enabling mission success for the world’s most demanding prime contractors.
While others focus purely on scale, Actron focuses on Program Integrity. We specialize in the complex, tight-tolerance, and difficult-to-manufacture components that serve as the backbone of national security and global innovation. From deep-space satellite architectures to the front lines of naval undersea warfare, our work is proven where performance is non-negotiable.
Our Legacy of Experience
With a history rooted in the Clearwater, Florida, manufacturing community, Actron has evolved from a specialized sheet metal shop into a vertically integrated manufacturing powerhouse. Our recent acquisition of Crabil Manufacturing has further expanded our footprint, adding further machining expertise and additional high-precision solutions to our portfolio. This strategic growth ensures that we remain an agile, responsive partner capable of supporting the "Primes" at every stage of the product lifecycle—from Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and prototyping to full-rate production.
Unmatched Technical Capabilities
At Actron, we bridge the gap between complex engineering challenges and mission-ready hardware. Our extensive in-house processes are tailored to the exacting technical specifications of mission-critical applications, including:
Advanced CNC Machining
High-tolerance 3, 4, and 5-axis milling and turning for exotic alloys and aerospace-grade materials.
Precision
Fabrication
CNC laser cutting, punching, and press brake forming, specializing in complex enclosures and deep-drawn chassis.
Certified Special Processes
Nadcap-accredited welding (AWS D17.1/D17.2) and MIL-SPEC chemical conversion coating and painting.
Full-Tier
Assembly
Sub-component and upper-level assembly for avionics, radar, thermal management, and fluid systems
